Jamestown

We went to Jamestown in January, the National Parks were free for the week. I remember being cold, David remembers me being cold. I forgot Rhett's coat. David grabbed one and I went in the house to replace it with a warmer one and came out without one at all. Too many of those moments! He wore David's coat, he didn't love the fit or being confined to the stroller, but we got by. I tried to hold Preston's interest in the museum by showing him all of the weapons. It sort of worked. Claire and David were our adventurous ones indeed.

One of the forest rangers gave us a fun tour. She was very enthusiastic. Claire and Preston were able to ask questions about Pocahantas.  We definitely have a greater appreciation for the early settlers.
