Getting ready for the first game. Like a true soccer Mom I got them ready before myself. David was kind enough to just get my hands in the picture. We love soccer. Preston and Claire are fast learners and have great teammates to look up to
( no pun intended)! They are much younger then the other kids. Coach Brown is a good teacher and has a great sense of humor. Claire got plowed in one game and whacked in the face with a high ball another time. She was tough, but took it a little personal at first. We reassured her that they were just accidents. It was pretty chilly the first few of games, but it has warmed up nicely. During the first game they would play and then during breaks they would sit in my lap with a blanket. David is looking forward to coaching them when he is done with school. |
