Weekend in San Antonio
-Thanks to my friends at Trip Advisor we found some family friendly things to do in the city.
-First we headed to the Japanese Gardens, we were hoping it would be anything like Maymont park in Virginia. It was lovely.
-Preston thinks it's pretty funny to kiss Claire. Maybe it's because she makes a big deal about how gross it is and tries to squirm away.
-Love those giant lily pads and oversized goldfishes.
-Rhett is trying to keep up with the big kids and wins them over with his sense of humor. We are lucky he didn't hurt himself with all of the rocky terrain.
-I love my girl in skinny jeans and boots. She is such a ray of sunshine in my life. She knows I want another girl, a mini Claire would be great. Of course a boy would be great too.
-We rode a train throughout the main park. I rushed the kids so we could get the caboose. I knew Rhett would be so excited to be on a train. He is my train and car crazy kid.
-After the park we went to my Cousin Jen's house were we stayed the night. They watched the kids for us so we could go to the temple.
-Saturday morning we had breakfast and hung out with their family. They had a busy day of family sporting activities so we left early.
-On our way home we stopped in the historic district to take a stroll. There were so many interesting homes. To keep the kids happy, we had them pick out their favorite house and take a picture of it.
-The trees there had the biggest acorns we've ever seen. Sadly, Rhett threw Claire's favorite one in the water. Tears were shed.
-Behind all of the houses we found part of the Riverwalk and a bridge. What a charming neighborhood! Preston is still afraid of heights and it is hard not to laugh at his facial expressions and body language. Just like his Daddy.
